It's been a blast

heyhey, its my last day in UAE so just wanna wrap up these 3 wks with some more pics! It's been a real experience seeing how things are in an Arab country, enjoying the winter while it lasted. They only have 2 seasons here, winter and summer, haha. Anyway, hope everyone is coping well, trusting God to deliver them from all harms and dangers. Enjoy the pics... =)

BBQ is a big thing over here, so they have alot of pits near the beach which u don need to pay to use, not like spore. LOL.

took a trip to visit the beach; and see people smoke shisha (yes its legal here, and its popular too)

and on the way back... to my horror i saw KRISPY KREME!! If I had known earlier, I would have gone there instead of Baskin Robbins!! =(

We went to try a TURKISH restaurant in Oman, turned out to be the best and most expensive meal during my trip!

this is the BEST salad I've ever eaten! ROCKET salad! You could have a reaction by eating this even if ur taste buds are not very sensitive (reference to yakitate japan!) I would da-pao this for hazel if it was possible!

HELLO!

Sorry for the lack of posts lately.. no internet still in the new hse so no chance to blog. Currently I'm in OMAN! And the internet in the hotel costs abt $35 for 24 hrs... Dad's here on biz trip so mom and I are tagging along. Oman's quite a pretty place, reminds me of Singapore coz they care to plant trees here. Alrite here a few pics from the past week... and they are all about FOOD!!! =)

No internet

hey peeps... shifted to the new hse which has no internet so am at dad's office using... won't be posting anything else soon i guess. Will be going to another emirate on sunday, then Oman on tues! Missing Singapore, especially the ppl in it! Not forgetting the prawns...................

Was pretty boring.. Spent most of the day in the hotel apartment watching soccer.. except for going to the new house for even MORE packing and shopping awhile at Lulu. Coz the next day was going to.....

Day 4

AJMAN! It's another emirate, and about 2hrs drive from Fujairah where i'm at.. Dad had to go there for work so i and mom went there to look around... here are lots of pics to entertain you..

these are dates trees... they look like palm trees though... its leaves are tied up till a certain time when the people think they are ready... to bloom i think...

apparantly there is so much land over here so there's no need to build more than 1 storey... here are some pics of it inside...

which has bumper car!!!!!! and merry go round zzzzz

the fast food centre is super cool.. has so many shops and a open dining area.. so no more having to choose between macs or kfc between friends.. all can eat together!!

and in UAE, they love ketchup and usually don't serve chilli sauce...but this is too much...

tried camel's milk... but didn't really like it...

this is called Cinnabon (Cinnamon rolls).. something different but nice!

presenting to you... the toilet of UAE... EVERY toilet bowl has got tissue paper, a dustbin, AND a shower head!!! Singapore should learn... and the toilets are REALLY clean! =)
